About: What sets LA/SGV SEARCH apart? It’s not just a typical retreat—it’s an opportunity for a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Through immersive experiences with Scripture, Sacraments, and Catholic practices, you’ll discover a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and hopefully strengthen your Christian identity.
NOTE: This coming retreat is CO-ED retreat and will be June 13-15 (Father’s Day weekend). The Women’s weekend retreat will be on September 26-28.

Pack your clothing according to the weather. This retreat is set in a relaxed and casual environment.
Please do NOT bring watches ⌚, clocks ⏰, pagers 📟, cell phones 📱, radios 📻 laptops 💻, video games 🎮, or any other valuables. We will be on God’s time during the weekend. Be present. LA/SGV Search and the St. Joseph’s Salesian Youth Renewal Center are not responsible for the loss of personal items on the weekend.
Substances such as drugs, alcohol, etc., are not permitted. Be open to a retreat filled with the peace and joy of the Lord.
Although you do not have to be a Catholic to experience the retreat, Search is a Catholic Retreat Program, and all church services on the weekend will reflect a balance of the Word and Sacraments according to the traditions and practices of the Roman Catholic Church.
Check-in is at 5:30 p.m. on Friday
Check-out is at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday
You will be staying overnight and will not have time to check emails or leave the premises.
